What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Finding and identifying qualified new businesses that need our IT Support Services
  • Making sure potential clients are the right match, meaning they’re established and have their processes in order
  • Traveling up to a 60-mile radius from our offices to meet new prospects (we’ll provide a company car)
  • Keeping track of your lead generation and client interactions using CRM software
  • Building and maintaining relationships by understanding what our prospects need and what challenges they face
  • Giving on-site presentations to potential clients, showcasing what we have to offer
  • Analyzing sales data to see what’s working and what can be improved
  • Helping out with the marketing plan – from creation to execution
  • Getting involved in community events and professional groups to establish yourself as a knowledgeable resource

What You Need:

  • Great communication skills, both spoken and written
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to juggle tasks independently
  • A knack for innovation and challenging the status quo with new ideas
  • Willingness to learn new software and role-related skills
  • A curious mind that loves asking the right questions to really understand our potential clients’ businesses
  • Superb relationship-building skills – think: rapport, empathy, active listening

Preferred Experience:

  • 2 years of experience in outside sales, preferably B2B
  • Comfortable using CRM Software (like Salesforce or HubSpot) to track client communications
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive)
