Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented DQF (Driver Qualification Files) Compliance Specialist to oversee and manage compliance processes related to driver qualification and safety in our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will ensure our company adheres to all applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations while maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all Driver Qualification Files (DQFs) are complete, accurate, and maintained in compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
Regulatory Compliance Oversight
- Monitor and stay updated on changes to DOT, FMCSA, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Maintain compliance for DOT Medical Certifications, License expiration and drug and alcohol testing.
- Conduct routine internal audits to identify and address compliance gaps or risks.
Incident Management and Reporting
- Investigate compliance-related incidents, including DQF deficiencies or violations, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit required compliance reports to regulatory authorities in a timely manner.
Documentation and Recordkeeping
- Maintain organized and secure records of all DQF-related documents in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
- Ensure proper retention schedules for compliance-related files, including electronic and physical documentation.
- Conduct regular audits of DQFs to ensure timely updates, such as physical exams, certifications, and training.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in compliance, logistics, or transportation operations, with a focus on DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing Driver Qualification Files (DQFs).
Skills:
- Strong understanding of DOT and FMCSA regulatory frameworks, including DQF requirements.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills with a high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in compliance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to train and collaborate with staff at all levels.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
