Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Logisitcs Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible gaining new customers, managing client relationships, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction within the transportation and supply chain sectors. This role requires a strong understanding of 3PL, transportation management, and sales strategies to effectively meet client needs. The position is outside sales, not a dispatch position or CSR position.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their transportation and supply chain requirements.
- Identify new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and industry research.
- Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a smooth transition for clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client specifications.
- Utilize data entry skills to maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
- Stay informed about industry trends, FDA regulations, and EDI processes to provide knowledgeable support to clients.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to continuously improve sales techniques and product knowledge.
Requirements
- Proven experience in 3PL sales management or inside sales within the transportation or supply chain industry.
- Strong understanding of 3PL services, transportation planning, and logistics operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Proficient in data entry and CRM software for tracking sales activities.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations related to transportation is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for growth within existing accounts.
