Certification(s) Required: Network , or Security , CISSP, and either CISM, CEH, or PenTest

The Objective:   

In this role, you will prepare, review, and provide curriculum development support and update program documentation in support of all Cyber Center of Excellence IA Security courses. Your subject matter expertise will enable you to provide support and services to audit, edit, and augment the development of advanced or emerging courseware.  

Incentives and Benefits: 

Direct Compensation: $60,000 to $67,000 per year  

Total Compensation: Including incentives and benefits, $65,000 to $72,000

The Details:  

• Review, develop, plan, and provide properly formatted electronic and physical documents.  
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, flow, balance, and clarity of understanding of the curriculum.  
• Review and modify all lessons, material, labs, and instruction to ensure it imparts the maximum amount of value in the minimum amount of time from the results of the student critiques.  
• Demonstrate and present modified or new courseware to staff, cadre, or students, as required.  
• Work with staff and cadre to incorporate new material developed by SMEs into current or new courseware.  
• Coordinate all course or modules changes to ensure compliance with requirements.  
• Experience with MS suite of applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint. 
• Experience creating training materials from scratch including handouts, forms, surveys, lessons, reference materials, etc.  
• Experience maintaining training records to include historical records, survey results reference library, or training materials and publications.  
• Experience with knowledge management applications (e.g., SharePoint, Army training requirements and resources system [ATRRS], or Learning Management Systems [LMS]).  
• Possess advanced presentation speaking skills (e.g., tailoring content and delivery for different audiences, presenting confidently to large or small groups, and using more creative approaches to presenting).  

The Requirements  

• Must have current Security or Network certification, and one or more of the following preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, Cloud , or PenTest .  
• Must have at least four years of experience in the preceding six years instructing Information Assurance (IA)/Cyber courses or have worked directly in the IA/Cyber career fields.  
• Must be able to present confidently to large or small groups. 
• Must possess advanced presentation and speaking skills. 
• Must be able to tailor content, instruction, and delivery for different audiences, using more creative approaches to presenting.  
• Must be able to resolve problems using a variety of resources and tools.  

Additional Requirements  

• Valid driver’s license required 
• CFD-IC or ITC/IC Certification is required (but not to start)  
• Clearance: Secret  
• Travel may be required for this position 
• Valid passport 

Salary : $60,000 - $67,000
