Role Summary
TIME Systems is looking for Software Administrator supporting staff that provide Testing and Analysis services to the AFNCR for the purposes of evaluating and implementing Software Applications. The position is 100% on-site at Joint Base Andrews, and will work simultaneously with the SIA (Security Impact Assessment) Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Test and develop software and applications to meet the needs of end users.
- Document each aspect of a system or application as a reference for future upgrades and maintenance.
- Routinely revisit development processes to fix bugs or address client consumer concerns.
- Identify and resolving software issues through rigorous testing and debugging processes.
- Write clean, efficient code using relevant programming languages to build software features and functionalities.
- Document discovered issues in a defect tracking system, including clear descriptions, and steps to reproduce expected behavior.
- Test software for security vulnerabilities and providing input on improving product solutions.
- Ensure software functions properly across different Operating Systems, Browsers, and devices.
- Communicate identified defects to developers and collaborate with other 894th Work Centers to resolve issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 7 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 years of prior relevant experience, additional years of applicable experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- An active DoD Secret clearance.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAM II certification.
- DoD 8140 ISSM role (i.e. CompTIA Security ).
- Expert knowledge and understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Expert knowledge and performance of vulnerability assessments for the purpose of change management (SIA).
- Knowledge of testing methodologies.
- Expert in relevant programming languages depending on the project (i.e., Java, Python, C , JavaScript).
- Experience with security infrastructure design and implementation.
- Technical writing skills to include SOP, Work Instructions, and preparing senior level briefs.
- Experience with STIG Viewer and DISA STIGs.
- Familiarity With Nessus/ACAS.
- Familiarity with PowerShell.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to communicate orally, and in writing, detailed technical information.
- Excellent project, technical and problem management skills.
- In depth knowledge back-end engineer functionalities.
- Experience supporting AFNCR, DoD, DISA, or other programs at the Pentagon.
