• The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for completing all shipping transactions and manage the shipping process for the Rushville, Indiana location.

• Responsible for completing all shipping transactions and reporting in a timely and efficient manner.
• Efficient problem solving when shipping issues arise.
• Manage inventory of all shipping supplies as well as coordination with vendors.
• Responsible for working with external customers and vendors as it relates to customer service inquiries.
• Works to consistently meet and exceed customer requirements.
• Manage scrap recycling process including managing relationship with recycling center and maintaining record keeping.
• Effectively communicate with all levels of internal company and external associates, both written and orally, including the telephone. 
• Assist Supervisor/Manager on special customer requests, and investigation of customer service inquiries to ensure they are properly handled and resolved.
• Leverage and utilize the system and tools created for Shipping.
• Maintain safety standards.
• Supports the Quality Management Systems (QMS) by delivering quality products and services and meeting quality objectives.
• Continuously strives for operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Other duties, as assigned.

• High School Diploma or General Equivalent Diploma (GED) with relevant work experience preferred.
• In lieu of a diploma or equivalent, must have at least 4 years relevant work experience.
• Required to work overtime when needed.
• Oracle experience preferred.
• Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Suite applications (ex. Outlook, Excel).
