The Role:
TIME is seeking a Senior Programming Producer to join its fast-growing global events team, which produces the TIME100 Summit and Gala in New York, the Women of the Year Leadership Forum and Gala and Latino Leaders dinner in Los Angeles, the TIME100 Next Gala, the TIME100 Impact Awards in Dubai, as well as events at the World Economic Forum, the U.N. Climate Change Conference, and more.
The Senior Programming Producer will report to the Vice President of Programming and work closely with colleagues across departments—including events, editorial, video and business teams—to bring these highly visible, deeply collaborative projects to life.
Responsibilities:
- Research and pitch speakers from every industry and across the world to feature in TIME’s event programming and an array of editorial franchises
- Manage day-to-day communications with speakers including initial outreach and booking and other aspects of speaker management and logistics as well as administrative efforts including reconciling invoices and keeping tracking documents up to date
- Create and edit event ROS, agenda, and program copy as needed
- Draft and edit preparatory documents for speakers including program intros and draft questions and produce on-stage conversations for both internal and external programs and events
- Coordinate on-stage conversations with TIME interviewers and moderators, drafting preparatory documents upon request
- Source relevant photos, video clips, and other digital assets to inform interviews and panel discussions
- Write, edit and update live event scripts including VOGs, welcome remarks, transitions, closing remarks, and other relevant program elements
- Work with sales team and clients on sponsor-related programming
- Promote and abide by our commitment to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
Qualifications:
- 9 years of relevant experience in event programming or production
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, highly-collaborative environments
- Strong editorial and news judgment, and demonstrated interest in current events
- Ability and willingness to travel to event locations both domestically and internationally
- Enthusiastic about innovation, positive-change and collaboration.

Location:
This is a hybrid role. Eligible candidates for the role must be within a commutable distance of TIME’s New York City offic upon hire and may be expected to be physically present as needed (typically 3 days/week).

Salary : $110,000 - $125,000
