Role Description
Our ideal Controller will manage all financial operations with support from two division finance managers. This position requires Sage 100 expertise and commercial construction experience (these two requirements are non-negotiable).
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct all accounting operations and financial reporting
- Oversee cash flow management and financial forecasting
- Manage project cost accounting and revenue recognition
- Lead month-end/year-end close processes
- Supervise two division finance managers
- Ensure compliance with construction industry regulations
- Human Resource Management
Requirements:
- 5 years financial leadership in commercial construction
- Proficient with Sage 100 Contractor software
- Strong understanding of construction accounting principles
- Experience with WIP reporting and job costing for annual Surety Bond Reviews
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
- Excellent communication skills with all stakeholders
