What You Will Be Doing
- Draft and negotiate contracts and advise on related transactions
- Advise on mergers and acquisitions and business entity governance matters
- Advise on choice of entity and create and restructure business entities
- Assist in due diligence efforts and post-deal integration
- Maintain a current working knowledge of laws and regulatory developments
- Structure and draft documents for commercial and finance transactions
- Interest in pursuing a long-term career in a law firm environment, developing a book of business and a successful practice over time
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department
- Experience and/or background in business, tax, commercial transactions, lending, finance, or accounting preferred
- Strong drafting, research, and writing skills
- Ability to work effectively with teams and independently, as well as manage and prioritize multiple projects
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work successfully with staff, attorneys at all levels, and firm clients
- Candidate must be licensed or attain license to practice law in the State of Ohio.
