Position Summary

The Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless daily operations of TSE's diverse business units. This dynamic role requires a proactive, customer-focused leader who can manage a fast-paced environment while tailoring the experience to meet the needs of a diverse customer base. From walk-in traffic and birthday parties to bowling leagues and corporate events, the Operations Manager will oversee a broad range of activities, ensuring a high level of service and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management :

Inspire, lead, and oversee a team of 30-40 hourly employees, fostering a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and growth.

Ensure exceptional customer service by setting high standards and leading by example.

Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team, while providing ongoing coaching and feedback.

Operational Excellence :

Oversee day-to-day operations across all business units, including bowling, laser tag, arcade, sports grill, and billiards.

Coordinate activities to maintain smooth operations during peak hours, including managing regular walk-ins, league play, and large-scale events.

Collaborate with the General Manager to identify and implement operational improvements and efficiency strategies.

Financial Management :

Partner with the General Manager to analyze financial data, manage budgets, and monitor revenue and expenses.

Ensure cost control by evaluating operational costs associated with products, services, and staffing.

Guest Experience :

Take a hands-on approach to ensure every guest has a memorable experience, actively engaging with customers and addressing any concerns.

Proactively tailor experiences to a dynamic customer profile, balancing family entertainment with corporate and group needs.

Compliance & Safety :

Ensure all operations comply with local and state health, safety, and alcohol-serving regulations.

Obtain and maintain required certifications, including Alcohol Seller / Server and Food Handlers.

Qualifications

Education & Experience :

High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of direct supervision and personnel management experience, preferably in the hospitality or entertainment industry.

Skills & Attributes :

Proficiency in computer usage, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), is required.

Preferred knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems, such as Qubica and Square, is beneficial.

Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills to manage a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, with a professional demeanor.

Ability to work under pressure while maintaining focus on key objectives and operational priorities.

Schedule Availability :

Flexible availability, including a combination of day and nighttime hours, weekends, and holidays.

Certifications :

Alcohol Seller / Server Certification (can be obtained after hire).

Food Handlers Certification (can be obtained after hire).
