With over 29,000 events hosted, TSE specializes in birthday parties, corporate events, and group gatherings for anywhere between 10 and 1,000 people. Position Summary

The Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless daily operations of TSE's diverse business units. This dynamic role requires a proactive, customer-focused leader who can manage a fast-paced environment while tailoring the experience to meet the needs of a diverse customer base. From walk-in traffic and birthday parties to bowling leagues and corporate events, the Operations Manager will oversee a broad range of activities, ensuring a high level of service and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management :

  • Inspire, lead, and oversee a team of 30-40 hourly employees, fostering a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and growth.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by setting high standards and leading by example.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team, while providing ongoing coaching and feedback.
  • Operational Excellence :

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across all business units, including bowling, laser tag, arcade, sports grill, and billiards.
  • Coordinate activities to maintain smooth operations during peak hours, including managing regular walk-ins, league play, and large-scale events.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to identify and implement operational improvements and efficiency strategies.
  • Financial Management :

  • Partner with the General Manager to analyze financial data, manage budgets, and monitor revenue and expenses.
  • Ensure cost control by evaluating operational costs associated with products, services, and staffing.
  • Guest Experience :

  • Take a hands-on approach to ensure every guest has a memorable experience, actively engaging with customers and addressing any concerns.
  • Proactively tailor experiences to a dynamic customer profile, balancing family entertainment with corporate and group needs.
  • Compliance & Safety :

  • Ensure all operations comply with local and state health, safety, and alcohol-serving regulations.
  • Obtain and maintain required certifications, including Alcohol Seller / Server and Food Handlers.
  • Qualifications

    Education & Experience :

  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of direct supervision and personnel management experience, preferably in the hospitality or entertainment industry.
  • Skills & Attributes :

  • Proficiency in computer usage, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), is required.
  • Preferred knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems, such as Qubica and Square, is beneficial.
  • Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills to manage a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, with a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining focus on key objectives and operational priorities.
  • Schedule Availability :

  • Flexible availability, including a combination of day and nighttime hours, weekends, and holidays.
  • Certifications :

  • Alcohol Seller / Server Certification (can be obtained after hire).
  • Food Handlers Certification (can be obtained after hire).
