Job Title: Quality Assurance Supervisor
Locations: Union County, NJ
Duration: Full Time
Responsibilities:
- Train production staff in our quality standards and procedures
- Minimize rework through development, implementation, and maintenance of effective quality control procedures.
- Conduct inspections and audits of production processes, equipment, and finished goods including machined in-house parts.
- Investigate product defects and initiate corrective actions.
- Meet estimated work order times by identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to improve workflow at projected costs.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production and quality.
- Generate detailed efficiency performance reporting.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, OSHA safety standards, and ISO-9001.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for audits and certifications.
- Supervise quality control technicians and other relevant personnel.
Qualifications:
- BS Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- 5 years’ experience in print reading, inspection, manufacturing flow and efficiency improvement
- 3 years’ experience in quality control or production efficiency role, preferably in industrial machinery manufacturing
- 5 years’ experience with ERP system and data analysis tools
- 3 years’ experience with safety and environmental compliance standards
- 5 years’ experience in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001)
- 3 years’ experience with industrial machinery manufacturing processes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,505.00 - $90,000.00 per year
