Job Title: Toolmaker
Duration: Full Time
Location: Fort Lee, NJ
Job Summary:
To build, groom, and repair stamping tool dies use by the company.
Responsibilities:
- Build tools to provided designs. Groom Tools to meet design requirements.
- Install tools into required stamping presses as required. Install stamping inserts for tool change overs as required. Check resulting parts after install to assure requirements are met.
- Maintain dies and replace parts as required.
- Grind and build spare for stamping dies as required.
- Follow all ISO 14001,ISO 13485, ISO 9001 and TS 16949 procedures as required. Follow all procedures as identified by quality system.
- Follow established safety rules at all times. Handle all chemicals used for tools as required by applicable MSDS and dispose as required by ISO 14001.
- Any other task assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High School or Equivalent
- Five years of experience with building, grooming, and repairing stamping tool dies.
- Assembly Experience (1 Yr Min)
- Machining Experience
- Problem Solving/Trouble Shooting Experience
- Read Technical Specifications
- Read Blueprints, Drawings, Specifications
- Verbal Communication Skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Inspection/Testing Experience

Pay: $28.00 - $32.90 per hour
