Job Summary:
MEAT DEPARTMENT WORKER POSITION: MEAT DEPARTMENT WORKER (CLEAN UP PERSON) LOCATION: All STORES DEPARTMENT: MEAT DEPARTMENT CLASSIFICATION: Casual Part-Time (less than 24 hours) and Full-Time (40 hours) (Honolulu) ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Cleans and Sanitizes the Meat Processing Area. Cleans and Sanitizes equipment in the Processing Area, as directed. Able to meet company productivity standards, thoroughly cleaning in a safe but orderly manner. May assist in the receiving of Meat Product: break open cases; rotate; and stock cases of merchandise in the backroom. May assist in the cleaning of Display cases. Other related task as assigned by Store Mgmt. *FT will have additional duties sill being worked out to fulfill the 40 hours.
EXPERIENCE: Experience is not required.
ABILITIES: Neat and orderly work habits: Able to work in messy and wet conditions; Good initiative; and able to work with minimal supervision.
PHYSICAL Lift a maximum of 50 lb. with medium to little effort.
DEMANDS: Push/pull carts with merchandise weighing 200 lbs. or more. Work in cold temperature of 40 F Degrees or lower. Stand and move about for two (2) hour durations. Fair amount of bending, stooping, squatting and reaching above shoulders.
SCHEDULE: Usually Two days a week, between hours of 5:00pm to 9:00 pm., which is subject to change at the discretion of management. On occasion, may work a few days more to cover the vacation of the other Meat Department Worker SALARY: The starting rate for the Meat Department Worker (CBA).
