Job Overview
Help keep Hawaii’s community safe! Times Pharmacy is looking for Pharmacy Vaccination Clinic Assistant to provide operational and clerical support in an immunization clinic setting. We are looking for individuals who are willing to travel and conduct on-site vaccination clinics at various businesses or organizations across the state. Must be detail-oriented, organized, friendly, and motivated to help provide the best customer experience possible.
Hours
- Monday through Friday, and occasional Saturdays or Sundays
- Most days start around 7AM and end around 5 PM, but may be asked to start earlier or end later based on the schedule of the day
- The number of hours worked per week will vary based on clinic demand (0-40 hours per week)
- Position begins in July or August and ends in mid November (~3-4 months)
Responsibilities and Duties
- Follow all safety policies and operating procedures
- Prepare and maintain clinic supplies and business records before and after clinics
- Consistently punctual - arrive at least 15 minutes early for clinic set up
- Arrange “check-in” work station for easy line formation and assist with crowd control
- Greet customers and assist with registration, including pre-screening policies and procedures
- Verify patient demographic and insurance information is correct and legible
- Maintain completed consent forms - separate them by insurance plan and organize by patient’s last name
- Additional duties to be assigned as needed, such as billing the vaccinations or supporting the clinic pharmacist as needed
Qualifications
Experience
- Customer service (1 year)
- Administrative assistant (preferred)
- Knowledge of office management system and procedures (preferred)
