Contracts Attorney

Job Description

At Timeshare Defense Attorneys, we represent clients needing assistance in canceling their timeshare, ultimately releasing them from their contracts. A timeshare attorney is a consumer protection advocate who works to protect their client’s rights regarding a range of timeshare matters.

A skilled timeshare lawyer not only helps their client understand timeshare contracts and their implications but can also help them exit timeshare contracts. This is usually due to high costs like maintenance fees and interest payments.

Responsibilities Include

• Being present for phone consultation appointments with clients.
• Reviewing/generating attorney demand letters.
• Reviewing legal paperwork for client signage.
• Negotiations with collection companies and/or timeshare companies on behalf of clients.
• Responding to emails and working with the Client Services team to resolve timeshare related issues.
  
  

Skills Required

• Basic computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email usage.
• Proficient knowledge of Google Drive.
• Empathetic to build trust with people on the phone.
• Is extremely well organized and attentive to detail.
• Highly motivated.
• Great attitude and team player.
• Proactive approach to handling workload.
• All candidates MUST have passed the bar and be a licensed attorney.

The work environment is easy going and not high stress. The Client Services team provides ample support for the attorney to thrive and resolve the necessary legal issues. We do not expect/necessitate in-person consultations with clients. Dress code is business casual. On Fridays, we're in casual dress code and enjoying paid lunches! We also have a fully stocked kitchen with snacks and coffee.
