SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Join a fast-paced team that supports 200 convenience stores. Apply your skills to repair, troubleshoot and install fuel systems on site and use state of the art tools to remotely connect to assets for troubleshooting, repairing and upgrading.
JOB DUTIES:
- Reports to the Texas Petroleum Group Assistant Maintenance Director, located in Houston.
- Work alongside subject matter experts that help each other solve unique day to day problems for the Petroleum Industry.
- Focus on store uptime by remote and onsite troubleshooting.
- Assist deploying new technology and/or petroleum related hardware.
- Assist opening new stores by installing/setting up fueling equipment.
- Supporting special projects assigned to the Maintenance Department.
- Repair POS systems, Fuel Dispensers and Fuel Components. Install CAT-6 and other low voltage communication wiring.
- In this role you will learn to use Insite360, Netops, Titan and other remote monitoring software tools to maintain facility equipment and maximize uptime.
- Helping to facilitate when scheduled special projects are assigned to the Maintenance Department.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Knowledge on electrical, electronic communication, Automatic Tank Gauges, Fuel Dispensers, Submersible Motors and POS systems.
- Ability to work with store personnel over the phone and in person to help troubleshoot and remedy inoperable systems.
- Strong desire to take ownership and see tasks through to resolution.
- Conscious of how to safely complete tasks before starting work for yourself and anyone on TPG property.
