You should have an intermediate to advanced ability to use AutoCAD Civil 3D or Microstation software and other engineering automation tools. Additionally, you must be able to operate technical analysis equipment and computer equipment. Strong technical verbal and writing skills, and the ability to read technical literature and engineering plans are essential. You should also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, develop financial project management skills through project work and assignments, demonstrate maturity, professionalism, and willingness to solve client problems, and exhibit effective two-way communication to work with internal staff and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and complete assigned engineering designs using your technical knowledge.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to assign tasks and schedules to Project Engineers and project team members, provide guidance, and monitor progress.
- Verify the accuracy of assigned tasks completed by other engineering and technical staff.
- Make significant design decisions that meet client needs while coordinating the impact on related project efforts.
- Identify and address technical, schedule, or financial issues with Project Managers and/or clients as necessary.
- Assist clients in bidding or contractor selection if authorized.
- Monitor construction and supervise field personnel assigned to a task or project.
- Respond to contractor questions and prepare project addendums as needed.
- Recommend and prepare change orders.
- Participate in creating engineering services proposals.
- Communicate with clients on technical matters.
