Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Civil Project Manager/Senior Project Manager to lead our Private Land Development Group. This role requires excellent project management, communication, and technical skills to drive project success. You will work closely with clients, staff, and internal design teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee project design and implementation using Civil 3D technology and other relevant software
• Coordinate with clients, staff, and internal design teams to ensure project goals are met
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to achieve optimal results
• Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and designs to clients and stakeholders
• Collaborate with the design team to develop project plans, specifications, and budgets
• Ensure compliance with Maryland Stormwater requirements and local codes
Requirements and Qualifications
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent work experience and professional registration (P.E.) in Maryland preferred
• At least 6 years of experience in civil engineering related to land development design
• Experience working on Howard County residential projects is a plus
• Strong understanding of project accounting, budgeting, and scheduling principles
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Proficiency in CADD and/or Civil 3D software, as well as office support software required for the position
