Responsibilities:
- Follow food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the safe handling, storage, and preparation of food products.
- Helps ensure inventory accuracy by regularly counting items and correcting any errors found.
- Prep, assemble, and package food items while maintaining portion control and quality.
- Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients used in food preparation.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with placing orders.
- Assist with stocking inventory and restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the sandwich shop.
Experience:
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
