We are seeking a highly organized and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Receptionist. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations and checking in surgery and consult patients.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct them to the appropriate department
- Schedule appointments
- Check-in patients, verify insurance information, and collect necessary paperwork
- Maintain patient records and update medical information
- Assist with billing and insurance claims processing
- Coordinate referrals to specialists or emergency room (ER) visits as needed
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, filing
Skills:
- Previous experience working in a dental or medical office setting is preferred
- Proficiency in operating phone systems and handling multiple phone lines
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written *BILINGUAL PREFERRED
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
