Job Description : Project Manager – Commercial Construction
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager (PM) to lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires a professional who can provide strong leadership to project teams while maintaining productive relationships with all stakeholders. The PM will oversee all aspects of project execution, including client and contract requirements, planning, scheduling, budgeting, and scope evaluation. By leveraging your expertise, you will ensure project goals are achieved on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Project Oversight
Manage multiple construction projects, ensuring successful delivery from preliminary budgeting through final design, permitting, construction, and closeout.
- Lead project teams, including Superintendents, Project Engineers, and Interns, fostering mentorship and collaboration.
- Direct and coordinate activities to ensure projects progress on schedule and within prescribed budgets.
Client and Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, owners, and on-site representatives.
Financial and Operational Management
Oversee project financial health, including accurate billing and change order execution.
Planning and Problem Solving
Review project proposals, plans, and specifications to determine time frames, resource allocation, and procedures.
Qualifications
5 years of experience managing commercial construction projects, with wood frame and multi-family experience required.
Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel; familiarity with Procore, Timberline, Sage, and OnScreen Takeoff preferred.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage complex projects without oversight gaps.
Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and access to reliable transportation.
