Responsibilities
- Conduct land surveys using various surveying instruments and techniques.
- Utilize GPS technology to gather precise geographical data.
- Draft detailed survey plans and maps using software such as Carlson, MicroStation, or CAD.
- Collaborate with civil engineering teams to support project design and implementation.
- Analyze survey data to determine property boundaries, topography, and land features.
- Prepare reports summarizing survey findings for clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards in all surveying activities.
- Maintain equipment and ensure all surveying tools are calibrated and functioning properly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in land surveying with proficiency in surveys, GPS technology, GIS applications, and drafting software.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform complex calculations accurately.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to land surveying.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical abilities to interpret survey data accurately.
