Job Summary
We are seeking a Surgical Tech Services Specialist to deliver high quality, patient centered care in the Operating Room. The ideal candidate will have surgical technologist certification and at least two years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist staff during operative and invasive procedures.
- Prepare the operating room for procedures.
- Act as a preceptor for other techs as needed.
- Formulate and update protocols for specialty procedures.
- Manage new and existing instruments and supplies.
- Coordinate repairs of specific equipment.
- Maintain a clean, well-stocked/organized, and safe patient care environment.
Requirements
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
- Surgical Technologist Certificate (CST) and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or equivalent required.
- Two years of Surgical Tech experience required.
