Timpte is growing and looking for an Electromechanical Technician at Thunderstone Facility in Lincoln, NE. In this role, you will have an integral part in the development of our BRAND NEW facility opening in 2025. Main Job Responsibilities
• Performs tests of moderately complex electronic/electrical systems, electro-mechanical systems, Electro-mechanical devices, mechanical devices and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs as well as any other required inspections.
• Understand PLC logic (Programmable Logic Controller) and use it to troubleshoot and enhance machine performance.
• Follow all lockout/tag-out, electrical codes, safety programs, and follow emergency action plan duties
• Keeping shop and equipment clean, safe and organized.
Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications
• Must possess an Associates degree in electromechanical technology or related field and/or 2-5 years of experience in performing electromechanical maintenance and repairs.
• Must have knowledge of production equipment, operate forklifts, welding, and proficient in using hand tools, multimeters and other electrical measurement devices.
• Must have strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to work under general supervision and make quality decisions independently when situation demands it. This includes working with new processes and projects.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be able to read blueprints, specifications, and repair manuals.
