What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabricator position at Timpte Inc?
Timpte is growing and looking to add a Fabricator to join our BRAND NEW Lincoln Manufacturing Center!
Hours for this position are Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm with possible overtime on Friday.
Pay for this role starts at $20/hour DOE, $1/hour increase after 60 days and Monthly Bonus!
Responsibilities:
• Setup and operate any equipment in the fabrication department as required.
• Fabricate parts using production schedules, cut sheets and blueprints.
• Move material in and out of fabrication department
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Practice good housekeeping and keep work area organized.
• Inspect work for quality, workmanship and that they meet blueprint tolerances.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned by team leader or supervisor.
• Responsible for working safely and for the safety of others working in the area.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by management or required by the position.
Qualifications:
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and schedules.
• Knowledge to operate machines, hand tools, tape measures, cranes, and other equipment.
• Ability to work with general supervision and make basic quality decisions.
• Must be able to work with other employees.
• Prior manufacturing and CNC experience helpful.
• Ability to learn job and be fully competent within 6 to 12 months.
