What are the responsibilities and job description for the Territory Sales Representative position at Timpte Inc?
This role will have travel requirements up to 50% of the time with some overnight stays. This position will have a remote office location near a large metropolitan area within specified territory.
Total Compensation for this position is $100k /year depending on experience.
Essential Functions:
- Primary Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and Manage Sales for Aftermarket- Growth
- Develop Distribution Channels – Dealer & Retail
- Develop database of customers through referrals, phone conversations, direct face-to-face cold calling on customers, direct mail, and email
- Support the launch and continued development of ECommerce
- Attend Trade Shows and other events to market products
- Daily prospecting new channels, Dealers and E-Commerce opportunities
- Assist in answering and addressing incoming calls & walk-in customers pertaining to sales
- Research and communicate new markets and new product opportunities within assigned territory
- Maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing a sale resulting in the taking of market share from our competitors
- Ongoing Marketing proposals submitted throughout the year, tracking towards seasonality of the business
- Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities
- Performs additional duties as assigned by management or required by the position
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in related field 3-5 years of sales experience
- Preferred sales experience in related fields
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Motivated and proven ability to achieve sales goals
- Willingness to travel up to 50% with overnight stays included
- Must have valid driver's license, insurable driving record and reliable transportation
