Are you an experienced sales professional that enjoys managing a territory and developing relationships? Are you looking to join a growing organization? Timpte is looking for a Territory Sales Representative to join our team. We’re looking for an individual to be responsible for all aftermarket sales for our Thunderstone, Lincoln Marine, and Tonneau Cover product offerings by growing market penetration through dealer and retail sales channels.
This role will have travel requirements up to 50% of the time with some overnight stays. Candidate must be located within assigned multi-state territory.
Primary Territory Includes : Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana.
Total Compensation for this position is $100k / year depending on experience.
Essential Functions :
- Primary Responsibilities :
Facilitate and Manage Sales for Aftermarket- Growth
Develop Distribution Channels – Dealer & RetailDevelop database of customers through referrals, phone conversations, direct face-to-face cold calling on customers, direct mail, and emailSupport the launch and continued development of ECommerceAttend Trade Shows and other events to market productsDaily prospecting new channels, Dealers and E-Commerce opportunitiesAssist in answering and addressing incoming calls & walk-in customers pertaining to salesResearch and communicate new markets and new product opportunities within assigned territoryMaximizes all opportunities in the process of closing a sale resulting in the taking of market share from our competitorsOngoing Marketing proposals submitted throughout the year, tracking towards seasonality of the businessMaintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activitiesPerforms additional duties as assigned by management or required by the positionRequirements :
Associate's Degree in related field 3-5 years of sales experiencePreferred sales experience in related fieldsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenProficient in Microsoft Office programsMotivated and proven ability to achieve sales goalsWillingness to travel up to 50% with overnight stays includedMust have valid driver's license, insurable driving record and reliable transportationTimpte also offers a competitive benefits package including :
