Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have START UP experience. We are building a body shop from the ground up. Would prefer some mechanical and customs experience.
Duties
- Assess damaged vehicles and determine the necessary repairs.
- Perform body repairs including welding, fabricating, and assembling parts.
- Use power tools and hand tools to repair or replace damaged components.
- Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair processes and timelines.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance overall service quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive repair or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues.
- Proficiency in using power tools and equipment for repairs.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
- Ability to weld and solder as needed for various repair tasks.
- Previous experience in a dealership setting is a plus but not required.
