Timsco Graphics is a 65 year old wide format printing/signage company in Temple Hills, MD. We are professional, fast-paced, and full of industry veterans. Our company is looking to teach the skills needed to succeed and grow within our company as well as provide the opportunity for a successful career in a growing graphic display industry.
Graphic technicians are responsible for all pre-press functions as well as some aspects of printing with roll-roll wide format printers. List of responsibilities includes:
- Checking customer files
- Sending PDF proofs
- Creating files for CNC routing
- Creating mock ups
- Some design/layout
- Order management
- Running 64" roll to roll printers as needed
- Incorporating new technology into the production process
Some of the equipment and software used includes:
- Apple 27" I7 retina display platforms
- Rip files with Onyx Thrive
- Canon 8'x10' flatbeds
- Canon Colorado roll printers
- Fuji roll Printers
- Adobe software suite (illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
