Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic restaurant team. Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and assist them in seating arrangements.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized waiting list during busy periods.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for managing guest orders and payments efficiently.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly, providing exceptional guest services.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Assist with phone etiquette by answering calls professionally and assisting with reservations or inquiries.
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Qualifications
- No experience is necessary.
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Answer the phone, answer questions, and take to-go orders.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
