Looking for an experienced and qualified Assistant Kitchen Manager. One for the AM shift and one for the PM shift. This is an hourly position. The candidate is one who shares our commitment to uncompromising quality of food and service. Our products are made from scratch daily. This is an exciting opportunity to become a key player in a fast growing company that will be expanding in other regions in the near future.As a Assistant Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for preparing / creating the product, overseeing and training kitchen staff, ensuring food safety and quality, and managing the ordering and inventory process. This is both a managerial and hands on position where you will be on your feet to ensure our products are at their best at all times.Essential Job Duties include assisting Head Kitchen Manager with the following :

  • Food production.
  • Training, managing, and developing all kitchen staff team members.
  • Scheduling kitchen staff in conjunction with forecasted labor and predetermined budget.
  • Developing a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house.
  • Ensuring adherence to all recipes guidelines to provide consistent quality, proper presentation technique and food safety standards.
  • Ensuring proper equipment cleaning and maintenance.
  • Maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment for all employees by ensuring that proper safety and sanitation requirements are met.
  • Training kitchen staff in sanitation practices and establishes cleaning schedules, stock rotation schedules, refrigeration temperature control points, and other sanitary controls.
  • Completing all weekly and monthly food and supply product inventories.Qualifications :
  • 5 years of culinary experience preferred
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills. Bi-lingual preferred.
  • Ability to give clear, concise directions.
  • Readily adjusts to circumstances and manages change effectively.
  • Maintains professionalism in difficult situations.
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task and organize work to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation.

    Como Supervisor de Cocina : Nuestros productos se elaboran desde cero a diario,

    ser responsable de preparar / crear el producto, supervisar y capacitar al personal de cocina, garantizar la seguridad y calidad de los alimentos y ordenar los pedidos de producto e inventario.

    Este es un puesto gerencial y prctico en el que usted estar de pie para garantizar que nuestros productos estn en su mejor estado en todo momento.

    Las tareas laborales esenciales incluyen : Coordinarse con el Gerente de cocina con lo siguiente :

  • Produccin de alimentos, capacitacin, gestin y desarrollo de todo el personal de cocina. Organizar los horarios del personal de cocina en relacin a las necesidades del restaurant y el presupuesto predeterminado para el mismo. Desarrollar una slida dinmica de equipo entre la cocina y el personal de servicio al cliente.
  • Garantizar el cumplimiento de todos los pasos establecidas en las recetas para proporcionar una calidad constante y una tcnica de presentacin adecuada. Estndares de seguridad alimentaria.
  • Garantizar la limpieza y el mantenimiento adecuados del equipo.
  • Mantener un entorno de trabajo seguro y sanitario para todos los empleados garantizando que se cumplan los requisitos adecuados de seguridad y saneamiento.
  • Capacitar al personal de cocina en prcticas sanitarias y establecer horarios de limpieza y horarios de rotacin de alimentos. , puntos de control de temperatura en alimentos y refrigeracin y otros controles sanitarios.
  • Completar todos los inventarios semanales y mensuales de alimentos y productos de suministro.
  • Requisitos :

    Se prefieren 5 aos de experiencia culinaria

  • Habilidades profesionales de comunicacin verbal y escrita. Preferiblemente bilinge.
  • Capacidad para dar instrucciones claras y concisas.
  • Se adapte fcilmente a las circunstancias y gestiona el cambio de manera efectiva.
  • Mantenga el profesionalismo en situaciones difciles.
  • Capacidad para trabajar de forma independiente, realizar mltiples tareas y organizar el trabajo para administrar el tiempo de manera efectiva y cumplir con los plazos.
  • Fuerte conocimiento de seguridad alimentaria y saneamiento.
