TingTing’s Cafe is a cozy 40-seat restaurant nestled at the corner of Cherry and 11th Street in Philadelphia’s Chinatown. We specialize in a unique fusion of classic comfort food with bold Asian twists, drawing inspiration from the vibrant, no-rules dining culture of Hong Kong-style cha chaan teng—with our own creative spin.
We are currently seeking an experienced Kitchen Supervisor/Chef to join our team.
Our menu highlights include Kobe-Style Smashed Burgers with Tempura Bacon, Spicy Kimchi Bacon Spaghetti, Baked Creamy Seafood Over Fried Rice, Creamy Cod Roe Udon, and Char Siu Rice Plates, among other exciting dishes.

Duties
- Be able to prepare, portion, cook, and plate food accordingly in a safe, timely, organized manner while maintaining high quality of foods.
- Train, assign and supervise the work of kitchen team.
- Responsible for identifying items prepared for guests with allergies and dietary restrictions.
- Work as a team with other Cooks, kitchen helpers and FOH & BOH Management teams.
- Manage inventory of kitchen items and order supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation standards.
Requirements
- Minimum two (2) prior experience in high volume, fine-casual or fine-dining environments.
- Experience at Asian restaurants is a plus.
- Culinary schools degree is a plus.
- Must be able to efficiently work as a team leader.
