Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Obstetrics and Gynecology physician to join our team on a locum tenens basis. The ideal candidate will have the ability to provide exceptional patient care in a hospital setting, with a strong focus on obstetrics and gynecology.
The schedule for this position is as follows:
24-hour call coverage required as soon as credentialed
Two weekends per month, hospital coverage only (Friday to Monday, 7am-7am)
The details of this opportunity include:
Inpatient-only responsibilities
Call coverage
114-bed hospital with an average inpatient census of 2 and average admissions of 1 per day
No ICU responsibilities
Support from nearby James and Connie Maynard Children's hospital, including pediatric transport
ALS certification within 6 months if provider plans to stay long-term
NRP certification required if provider plans to stay 6 months or longer
Evidence of completion of AWHON Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course within the last 2 years
EPIC EMR system used by the hospital
