We value you at TFCU!   As an Internal Audit Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following: Assisting in developing, coordinating, and completing the annual audit program and ensuring that all audit activities are conducted in accordance with the Institute of Internal Auditors International Professional Practices Framework (IIAIPPF). Supervising their auditing staff, aiding them in their duties for TFCU. Ensuring their team performs financial, operational, regulatory, and branch audits as required. Reviewing the adequacy and effectiveness of TFCU’s system of internal control; as well as ensuring compliance with current credit union regulations.   Salary Range: This is an exempt position. The salary range is $113,690.65 - $142,113.31; however, actual placement within the range will be determined individually based on your experience relative to organizational needs and internal salary equity.   Education/Experience: You must have a bachelor's degree in accounting and five years’ experience as an internal auditor within a financial institution or auditor with a public accounting firm (with financial institution audit experience), one of which at the supervisory or lead level are required.   Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Incumbent Bonding REQUIRED by TFCU’s chosen authority. Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation is either required or the candidate must obtain it within one year of employment. Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE) or NAFCU Certified Compliance Officer (NCCO) Program certification strongly recommended, or willingness to obtain in the first 12 months of employment. Certified Public Account (CPA) designation is preferred.   Keys to success: In order to be successful as an Internal Audit Supervisor, you must possess these qualifications: Knowledge of the principles, procedures, and techniques of accounting otherwise known as the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Knowledge of auditing operations, including knowledge of IIAIPPF. Knowledge of financial institution regulations. Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, systems, and equipment. Strong analytical, organizational, and writing abilities. Must be skilled at applying self-driven initiative in order to accomplish tasks.
