What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance/Convention Center Care Specialist position at Tinley Park Convention Center?
Full Time Position, variable shift, $19.00 - $21.00, benefits include health club access, employee discounted room rates, PTO & 401K.
Minimum 2 years of experience performing general repairs. Must be proficient with various computer controlled systems & possess proven skill in the use of basic tools required to make general and cosmetic repairs. Must have knowledge of the Convention Center’s facilities and its operations & be able to read, write and understand English fluently.
Candidate must be guest-centric, possessing excellent customer service skills.
Position is responsible for the overall upkeep of the Convention Center; responsible for performing regularly scheduled operational inspections of the physical facility and facility systems and for making any needed repairs and /or improvements to restore the facility to its original “perfect working order” condition.
Position responds to hotel guestroom calls for minor plumbing, electric, carpentry, and guestroom needs.
