What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grading Foreman position at Tinsley Asphalt LLC?
· Supervise and oversee grading crew on various projects such as commercial parking lots, city streets, county roads and state highways.
· Focus on Safety and Excellence.
· Ability to perform base and grading in accordance with TDOT, local and commercial specs.
· Ability to read plans and specs (application rates, grade, slope, drainage etc.)
· Proven Track record of completing jobs under budget and ON TIME
· Ability to manage all aspects of the operation including ordering trucks, logistics, maintenance, and outside services.
· Coordination between other crews, subs, and vendors
· Daily submission of crew time and shift production reports as required
· Ability and willingness to work along the I-24 corridor as needed
· Education experience and knowledge
· 2 years as a foreman with references
· Knowledge of local customers and specs is preferred
· Proven record of being a self-starter and able to work under limited supervision
· Demonstrate STRONG communication and leadership skills
· Proficient in GPS grade and slope control – preferred
· Nights and Weekends may be required as needed
· Computer Skills Required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
