Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Pre-K Teacher to join our team and provide enriching learning experiences for children aged 4-5 years. Excellent hours: FULL-TIME: 8:15am-3:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities to promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to support the overall well-being of each child and the program as a whole.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with parents about their child's development.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to plan and coordinate daily routines, transitions, and special events.
- Stay current with best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities.
Experience:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a licensed center
- Knowledge of child development principles, early learning standards, and curriculum planning.
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to plan and organize lessons effectively
- Ability to pass background checks required by state regulations.
