Responsibilities :
- Create and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that foster creativity, learning, and exploration.
- Cultivate a warm, supportive classroom environment where children feel safe, loved, and respected.
- Promote the social and emotional development of children through structured activities, play, and positive reinforcement.
- Support and guide children in their self-regulation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a holistic approach to teaching, including working with assistants and parents.
- Assess the individual needs and development of each child and provide feedback to parents regularly.
- Implement classroom management strategies to maintain an organized, respectful, and productive learning environment.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with early childhood education practices.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children during classroom activities and while transitioning between locations.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and any other required documentation.
- Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience working with preschool-aged children (2-5 years old).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff.
- Energetic, motivated, and creative with a genuine passion for teaching and fostering young learners.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and patient in a dynamic classroom setting.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
