Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality education in a safe and engaging setting for preschool-aged children.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Create a positive classroom environment that encourages children to explore, learn, and grow.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a respectful and supportive atmosphere.
- Provide care for toddlers and infants as needed, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Observe and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the learning experience for all students.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom that is conducive to learning.
- Stay informed about best practices in early childhood education, including special education needs.
Skills
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment.
- Experience in toddler care and infant care is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support children's emotional development.
- Familiarity with preschool curriculum development and implementation.
- Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds, including those requiring special education support.
- First aid certification is preferred to ensure the safety of all children in care.
