Families Location: Carroll Garden, BK
Type of Position: Full time, live out.
Number of Kids: 2 children, a toddler and a school-age kid.
Schedule: The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 6:30 pm, with a weekly scheduled date night (with a later start time on that day if needed).
Compensation: All positions are paid gross with overtime. This position is $35 - $45 per hr, a healthcare stipend, and PTO [Paid federal holidays, sick days, and 2 weeks paid vacation.] MetroCard if needed
Start Date: Spring
Travel Required: Some travel with family each year, approximately 2 weeks likely

A warm, close-knit family is seeking an exceptional nanny for their two children, a 5-year-old and a 17-month-old. They are looking for a caring, patient, and attentive professional with experience managing multiple children and a talent for engaging with playful and expressive little ones.
The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, dependable, and safe environment while fostering the children’s development through reading, creative play, and structured activities. Responsibilities include maintaining the children’s belongings, coordinating with the family’s schedule, and ensuring a seamless daily routine.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Prioritize safety at all times.
- Maintain a clean environment for their children.
- Adhere to the parenting styles and childcare philosophies of the family.
- Engage their children in activities that promote intellectual and social development, such as music, art, storytelling, and crafts.
- After school pick-up, taking children to classes and other activities.
- Encourage social interaction through playdates and group activities.
- Manage their children’s daily routines including meals, playdates, and nap times.
- Preparing healthy meals for their children
- Must have knowledge and experience of potty training.
- Managing or communicating need to restock children’s items
- Perform related duties such as laundry, tidying children’s areas, organizing toys/books/clothes, and maintaining diaper bags.
Qualifications
- US, Work Authorization
- Minimum of 5 years of professional Nanny experience
- Pre-K experience
- School-age children experience
- Multiple children experience
- Up to date on all vaccinations
- Covid vaccination and boosted
- CPR and First-Aid certifications
- Education in or knowledge of Early Childhood Development
- Spanish speaking or some familiarity is a plus
