Overview:
We are a growing and expanding early childhood educational ministry, and we think you might be one to grow with us! We recently completed a 7,200 sq.ft. expansion and remodeling, which gives us a top-notch facility and an increase in our capacity by over 90%. We are looking for a few passionate, personable, and caring teachers to expand our growing team! We are a quality program, VCP certified, and soon to be recognized as a Level 3 Paths to Quality. We want to add a few more quality, caring team members to love and lead our children in their early development. As an Assistant Daycare Teacher, you play a crucial role in providing a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for children to learn and grow. Duties:
- Assist in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for children
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and structured learning
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress
- Ensure the health and safety of all children in your care
- Supervise children during meals, nap time, and outdoor play
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Assist with diaper changes, potty training, and basic hygiene needs
Requirements:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Willing to receive training in early childhood development principles and practices
- Willing to receive training for first aid procedures for children
- Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations with patience and professionalism
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children
- Familiarity with various teaching methods for young children
- Ability to create engaging activities that promote learning through play
