Position Summary
Tioga Pipe is looking for a Shipping Clerk to join our team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all products we ship to our customers. Work in a team environment serving as a Shipping Clerk in a dynamic industrial distribution business.
Job Responsibilities
- Verify orders, packaging and details to ensure complete and accurate
- Enter specific details for orders shipped
- Tracking orders
- Assist drivers with paperwork and loading
- Assisting sales with and orders and information requests
- Responding to incoming emails
- Handle issues that arise in relation to shipping
- Keep accurate files of goods shipped
- Prepare regular shipping reports for managers
Qualifications
- High school Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Proven work experience as a Shipping Clerk or similar role
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook along with basic computer skills. Baan system experience a plus but not required; in house training will be provided.
