What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sanitation Manager position at Tip Top Poultry Inc?
Key Responsibilities:
- Verifies all departmental documentation is in order on a daily basis
- Coordinates with the USDA and QA to ensure plant is inspected and ready for production
- Coordinates with all departments to ensure all master cleaning is completed as scheduled
- Conducts and approves staff changes, raises, and evaluations for Supervisory positions
- Oversees employee attendance, transfers, disciplinary actions, and evaluations
- Controls costs in labor, materials, chemicals, and continuous process improvement
- Oversees night shift production in the plant
Physical Requirements:
standing; ability to adapt to varying work environments, such as waste, debris, and cold or hot weather)
- Ability to lift approximately 30 pounds (occasionally more); ability to bend, squat, and climb repeatedly
