Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Developer to join our team at Tipmont Wintek. As an Operational Technology Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliable delivery of electricity to our members.
Your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing operational technology in line with codes and regulations, maintaining contemporary knowledge of protocols and devices for SCADA system support, and expanding expertise in emerging technology to enhance SCADA / communication systems.
You will also be responsible for monitoring, diagnosing, and troubleshooting system statuses daily with appropriate teams, conducting analysis of plant events such as major system faults or operational failures, and collaborating with teams to generate reports and dashboards for strategic decision-making.
In addition, you will oversee Tipmont's DMA application suite for monitoring and credential management, perform SCADA database editing, interface editing, and control point testing, assist with FLISR program development, coordinate database upgrades with substation / field supervisors to ensure data integrity, analyze operational technology data to identify trends and issues, and build relationships with internal and external partners to carry out project activities.
You will also create, analyze, and maintain engineering specs, drawings, and documentation, support the installation and maintenance of SCADA equipment and related devices, apply updates, patches, and configuration changes as necessary, and train and explain tools developed to non-technical staff.
