About the Position
We're seeking an experienced Operational Technology Engineer to join our team at Tipmont Wintek. As a key member of our engineering department, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining operational technology systems, including SCADA, MDMS, and DERMS.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational technology in line with codes and regulations
- Maintain contemporary knowledge of protocols and devices for SCADA system support
- Expand expertise in emerging technology to enhance SCADA/communication systems
- Monitor, diagnose, and troubleshoot system statuses daily with appropriate teams
- Conduct analysis of plant events such as major system faults or operational failures
- Collaborate with teams to generate reports and dashboards for strategic decision-making
- Oversee Tipmont's DMA application suite for monitoring and credential management
- Perform SCADA database editing, interface editing, and control point testing
- Assist with FLISR program development
- Coordinate database upgrades with substation/field supervisors to ensure data integrity
- Analyze operational technology data to identify trends and issues
- Build relationships with internal and external partners to carry out project activities
- Create, analyze, and maintain engineering specs, drawings, and documentation
- SUPPORT THE INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF SCADA EQUIPMENT AND RELATED DEVICES
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or industrial engineering
- Three-plus years of experience
