Warehouse Associate/Shipping Lead

Summary - Primarily focus on leading shipping duties while also providing support in receiving and inventory control.

Shipping Duties:

• Lead the shipping process, ensuring accurate and timely shipment of products to customers and vendors.
• Prepare shipping documents, including packing slips, bills of lading, shipping labels.
• Verify the accuracy of product quantities and ensure proper packaging for safe transportation.
• Collaborate with the operations team to coordinate shipping schedules and prioritize orders.
• Utilize warehouse management systems to track shipments and maintain accurate records.

Receiving Duties:

• Assist in the receiving process by inspecting incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Unload and unpack shipments, ensuring proper handling and storage of products.
• Verify the accuracy of received items against purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies.
• Organize and stock received products in designated storage areas.
• Collaborate with the operations team to update inventory records and maintain accuracy.

Inventory Control Duties:

• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records though regular cycle counts and audits.
• Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or discrepancies to the operations team.
• Collaborate with other operations team members to ensure proper organization and storage of products.
• Follow established procedures for inventory management, including FIFO principles.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of inventory control processes and procedures.
