Position Overview
As a Sales Consultant for Tipsy Lady Co., you will play a key role in our growth. We are looking for a passionate, innovative, and self-driven individual with a strong business acumen and a customer-focused approach. Your main responsibility will be to foster connections with customers, engage in insightful sales conversations, and drive sales growth. Success in this role is built on establishing trusting relationships through effective face-to-face (virtual or in-person) consultative selling.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales and establish new retail accounts in New York and New Jersey, aiming for 100 new activations in 2025.
- Cultivate positive, credible relationships with customers grounded in trust.
- Identify and understand customer needs for business growth.
- Create tailored business growth plans for each account and build a pipeline of sales opportunities to exceed base revenue targets.
- Analyze data and insights to enhance sales performance and meet objectives.
- Plan account visits meticulously, documenting agendas and selling opportunities in our CRM.
- Prioritize sales activities based on individual customer growth plans.
- Regularly visit and engage with accounts, recording visit notes and developing follow-up plans based on previous interactions.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Tipsy Lady products, ensuring accurate representation in every account.
- Utilize consultative selling techniques to propose effective solutions that resonate with customers.
- Address customer issues promptly, seeking additional opportunities to support their needs and facilitate business growth.
- Tailor your selling approach to accommodate diverse customer preferences and business requirements.
- Stay informed about competitors and market positioning of Tipsy Lady products.
- Keep account-specific information updated in our CRM system.
- Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and supplier events as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data effectively.
- Proficient in leveraging technology to fulfill job responsibilities.
-Familiarity with LibDib a must.
Alcoholic beverage experience preferred. Can be spirits, wine, or beer. Ideally, 2 years of industry experience in either supplier, distributor, or retailer sales in the region and existing relationships with key stakeholders.
-Strong knowledge of on and off-premise retail environment required.
- Ability to create compelling customer presentations and product proposals.
- Skilled in using mobile devices (like iPads and smartphones) and online communication tools (email, texting, etc.) in a professional context.
- Proven track record of achieving results, even in challenging situations.
- Responsible and committed to delivering high-quality service to customers, suppliers, colleagues, and management.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for diverse audiences.
- Open to change and innovation, with a flexible mindset.
- Team-oriented, collaborating effectively with others.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
Physical Demands
- This role may involve extended periods of sitting, typing, and using computers or mobile devices.
- Physical activities may include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and lifting.
- Driving throughout the day, with segments lasting up to 2 hours, may be required.
- Ability to lift, lower, push, carry, or pull items weighing up to 56 lbs.
