Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Bartender, you will prepare and serve beverages, ensure an exceptional customer experience, and maintain a clean, organized bar area. This role requires multitasking to make drinks for servers, attend to bar patrons, and occasionally assist in other areas of the restaurant. Flexibility, teamwork, and a friendly attitude are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and making recommendations.
- Multitask effectively to prepare drinks for servers while tending to bar guests.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and completing end-of-day tasks.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, cocktail recipes, and beverage pairings.
- Familiarity with using POS (Point of Sale) systems for order processing and payment handling.
- Excellent customer service skills and communication skills.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations is essential.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
