Express Body Shop Technician

Job Overview
We have created something new for East Texas and we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Body Shop Technician to join our new Express Body Shop team. We specialize in quick, "fast turn" jobs with the goal of getting the customer's vehicle back to them in 2-3 days. The benefit to a body tech is lower stress as these jobs tend to be less complex, require fewer parts, and the best part- less waiting on insurance supplements! We cultivate a work positive environment with supportive management, on time job scheduling, and a fantastic painter (who's even easy to get along with)! The ideal candidate will have a lot of experience with automotive restoration and repair, positive attitude, and be willing to communicate with the team. If you know your way around creating estimates, that's a big plus too. Duties

• Perform auto restoration tasks, ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail while following industry standards and manufacture protocols.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively for various automotive repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Conduct welding operations as needed for structural repairs and modifications.
• Carry out routine vehicle maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience in automotive repair or restoration .
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Proficiency in welding techniques and the use of hand tools specific to the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of airless paint spraying methods and auto painting processes is advantageous.
• Familiarity with vehicle maintenance practices and procedures.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team .
• A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to automotive repair are a plus.
• Familiarity with CCC estimating system and ability to write estimates is a big plus!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
