Tipton Hurst is hiring a full-time Floral Store Manager at our Pine Bluff location. In this position you will manage the day-to-day operations of a floral shop including managing the team, ordering and maintaining fresh flowers, plants and supplies.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the florist store.
- Interact with customers and make recommendations based on their needs.
- Hire, train and schedule the team to ensure proper staffing.
- Merchandise product to create eye catching displays and attract customers.
- Ensure the store is fully stocked with fresh flowers, plants and other products.
- Order and maintain store supplies and merchandise.
- Balance cash draws, oversee cash flow activities and make bank deposits.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized and visually appealing to the customers.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in retail management.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Floral Designer
